The Challenge
Deidre DeJear, a small business owner, a former basketball coach, and a strong advocate for voting rights, ran for Governor of Iowa against incumbent, Kim Reynolds.
Momentum was tasked with building a solid, long-lasting digital fundraising program that included email, text, social media, and direct to donate ads, with little amount of resources. Deidre ran a small-scale campaign in the 2020 cycle, and had a small list to start with, including personal contacts, Iowa leaders, and active Democrats in Iowa.
